Described as a virtuoso who lends her vocal flair to every song she sings. Formally trained and soulfully gifted, this songbird skillfully takes it from R&B standards to “souled-out” 80s covers to her own inspirational ballads, covering the gamut. Denét can bottom out like Chaka and shares air with Aretha.
In 2002 Rhonda began producing cabaret-styled showcases (performed as a solo artist and with her band the Rhonda Dene’t Project) at venues such as West Bank Café, Dominion Theater, and Upstairs at Rose's Turn. In 2005 she founded DeLaFeel, an R&B Cover and Originals project, with drummer John Ferris and performed with them in Staten Island and Brooklyn. Currently, she is working on her first album with guitarist, Juan Gallego as well as performing monthly with him at Crudo Bar in Manhattan.
