Songs For Seniors is a performance series specifically developed to improve the quality of life for senior citizens by providing professional live music to facilities and organizations that assist them. Each showcase features a collection of jazz and popular standards from the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s. Rhonda Denét presents her unique interpretations of these classic songs accompanied by a duo or trio of musicians. At the end of the presentation, audience members are given the opportunity to share a story that might be connected with a song performed.
Performances of the first showcase in the series, “Eternal Classics”, are currently being booked at locations throughout the New York Metropolitan area. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for individuals who want to something special to their loved ones and for local businesses that wish to promote positive initiatives in the community.
